Boulder Valley Girls Lacrosse

 
Fall Ball registration opens 8/1 for new and experienced players in 1st-8th grade. The program runs for 6 weeks on Sundays in September and October at Platt MS, 12:00-1:30. FB starts 9/13 and ends 10/18. See below for more information.

Ages: 1st-8th grade

Who:  New and experienced players

Dates:  Sundays starting 9/13; ending 10/18

Time:  12:00-1:30

2016 Winter Indoor Skills Night and Conditioning Night

2016 BVGL Spring Teams

For new and experienced players in 2nd-8th grade.

Registration for the 2016 season opens January 1st, 2016 and closes February 10th, 2016.

Practice starts March 7th for all players at Platt MS, 6096 Baseline & Cherryvale, Boulder 80303, 6:00-7:30pm.

U9-U14/15 teams will practice 3x/week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 6:00-7:30pm

Games are on Saturdays, beginning 4/2 and end on 6/5 with the Rocky Mountain Jamboree tournament.  There are approximately 3-4 home games played at Platt MS, and 3-4 away games, played in the metro Denver area.  The U11-U15 teams will attend a preseason tournament in the Denver area on March 13th. The game schedule is released in late March. No practice the week of March 21-25 for Spring Break. No practice Memorial Day 5/30.

 

 

2016 BVGL Summer Camp

Camp dates:  June 13-15th, 9-3pm at CU for girls going into 2nd-8th grade for the 2015-16 school year. Lunch included. Registration opens in April 2016.

US Lacrosse Age & Eligibility GuidelinesThe following age groupings are determined as of the August 31st preceding competition:

NOTE: Age group references used in this section are in common usage but should not be understood literally. The U15 (read: "Under 15") grouping means that, if a player is 14 years old on the cutoff date, he/she may participate in U15 competition as a 15-year old. 

U15: 
All players must be 14 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams. 

U13: 
All players must be 12 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams.
 
U11:
All players must be 10 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams.
 
U9:
All players must be 8 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, teams should consider physical size, skill, and maturity.
