Boulder Valley Girls Lacrosse
 
Boulder Valley Girls Lacrosse offers programs in the following areas:  youth spring league, youth summer camp at CU, youth fall ball, youth winter ball, and youth winter conditioning. Check out what program is coming up next............

 

BVGL Strength & Conditioning

Start getting into shape for the spring season. Join your teammates at Strength & Conditioning night, Tuesdays 7-8pm at Creekside Elementary School, 3740 Martin Drive, Boulder, and Bear Creek Elementary School, 2500 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder. Creekside dates are 1/9, 16, 2/6, 20, 27. Bear Creek dates are 1/23, 30, 2/13. Open to players in 2nd-8th grade. Registration opens mid November at bouldergirlslacrosse.org 

 

BVGL Winter Ball

We will offer 5 indoor sessions before the spring season starts in March. Winter Ball will be held on the following Sundays at the Sports Performance Center in Lafayette:  1/21, 28, 2/4, 11, 25. Times are 4-5pm for U8-U11 (2nd-5th grade); 5-6pm for U12-U15 (6th-8th grade). Registration opens in mid November at bouldergirlslacrosse.org 

 

BVGL Spring Season

Registration for the 2018 Spring season will open 12/1/17 and close 1/31/18 at 11:59pm. Open to girls in 2nd-8th grade. Practice starts March 12th, 6-7:30 at Platt MS, 6096 Baseline Rd, Boulder 80303. No practice March 26-30 for BVSD Spring Break. Please consider signing up for the winter programs so your daughter is ready for the spring season. Games start in early April (Saturdays) and end in late May. Homes games are at Platt MS and away games are mostly in the Denver area, with some teams playing in Ft Collins or CO Springs.

US Lacrosse Age & Eligibility GuidelinesThe following age groupings are determined as of the August 31st preceding competition:

NOTE: Age group references used in this section are in common usage but should not be understood literally. The U15 (read: "Under 15") grouping means that, if a player is 14 years old on the cutoff date, he/she may participate in U15 competition as a 15-year old. 

U15: 
All players must be 14 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams. 

U13: 
All players must be 12 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams.
 
U11:
All players must be 10 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams.
 
U9:
All players must be 8 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, teams should consider physical size, skill, and maturity.
